Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and his followers.
We would like to intimate all the community members that the second wave of corona virus is going on in full swing in Mayapur. We already have more than 100 residents who have tested positive. Based on epidemiology, we suspect that at least 5 to 6 times of this number maybe positive but maybe Asymptomatic or may have not reported to the community hospital. We are facing a challenging situation and already our medical team is overstretched and are literally working day and night, for the past two weeks, serving all the devotees.
We are also observing that the devotees are becoming less and less careful about the situation by which they are exposing themselves more and more to the infection.
Many leaders, senior community members and sannyasis are already infected and are under treatment.
We humbly request all the devotees to take the situation very seriously and protect themselves and their family members.
While government has laid no restrictions due to the ongoing elections, we cannot just rely on the government to put restrictions so that we can control. We will be initiating strict rules for masks in the temple hall again. We also request you to be cautious and take all preventive measures and try to avoid crowded places.
Please understand that the situation in Mayapur is a matter of great concern with the number of positive cases increasing day by day. Therefore, please take it seriously by wearing the face masks, frequently washing hands, having steam inhalation daily and by taking natural immunity boosting prasadam and if possible by avoiding crowded places.
